Videostroboscopy of the larynx is a simple painless test through which we are able to diagnose issues of the vocal cords. Done with a rigid endoscope via the mouth , the movement of the vocal chord can be seen with great detail. The result is simultaneously logged on a computer so that the patient can better understand the problem or allow doctors to assess the problem with their team to best deal with it. This test is essential for teachers, singers, artist and other professional voice users, as the voice can be recorded and the slightest problem in mobility of the vocal cords can be diagnosed.
